It only took two hours to complete the assigned work for today.
The moment I told Ella how much she had to do her usual complaints of it being “too much” began, and as she took her seat at the table she commented that she, “wished there wasn’t so many pages,” despite that today was a strictly science day.
However, once she began her school work, there were no complaints, and we breezed right through it. Was it because science is her favorite subject? Or was today just an unusually good day? Is it too soon to think that after spending all day yesterday doing schoolwork she’s decided that she doesn’t want to waste away the whole day complaining about having to do schoolwork rather than doing it?
Regardless of her reasons, I’d say today was a pretty successful day, and honestly, I’m kind of excited to continue this experiment tomorrow.
